Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound across abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and vascular studies in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will own image quality, operate PACS/RIS/EMR, and collaborate with radiologists while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

This role emphasizes autonomy, QA participation, and ongoing professional development in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty, or registry-eligible
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure where required
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning protocols
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment
• Strong communication with patients, radiologists and staff
• Commitment to QA participation and ongoing professional development
• Willingness to mentor students

Responsibilities

• Perform full spectrum of ultrasound exams: abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular
• Ensure diagnostic image quality and review own work before radiologist
• Operate and document using PACS, RIS and EMR in real time
• Maintain workflow, keep exam area stocked and clean
• Support department operations and adapt to schedule changes
• Participate in QA and continuing education
