Job summary

Altru Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform general and vascular ultrasound exams, review studies in PACS, and ensure accurate documentation. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and efficient workflow in a hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will hold ND imaging board/ARDMS credentials, ARRT/RVT where applicable, and a current BLS certification, with at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold ND imaging board certification and ARDMS eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year related ultrasound experience.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.
• Ability to operate PACS and complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or vascular ultrasound exams.
• Ensure physician order is received prior to exam; collect pertinent information.
• Review exams in PACS for quality and completeness.
• Complete paperwork and distribute exams for interpretation.
• Maintain room cleanliness and equipment; ensure patient safety.
• Assist with other department needs as required.
