Altru Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform general and vascular ultrasound exams, review studies in PACS, and ensure accurate documentation. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and efficient workflow in a hospital setting.
Qualified candidates will hold ND imaging board/ARDMS credentials, ARRT/RVT where applicable, and a current BLS certification, with at least 1 year of related experience.

Pay Range: $33.80 - $50.69
Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist assures that a written physician order is received prior to an exam performance and collects pertinent information. This position reviews exams on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness, and completes paperwork and distributes exams for interpretation. The Ultrasound Technologist efficiently performs all tasks within their designated room and demonstrates regard for patient's safety and comfort.
Language Requirements: This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
Driving Requirement Definitions: Professional Drivers: Persons who drive as their main responsibility OR transport passengers or hazardous materials. Frequent Drivers: Persons whose main responsibility is not driving, but drive daily or almost daily. Occasional Drivers: Persons who drive from once per month to as frequently as once per week. Infrequent Drivers: Persons who are generally not expected to drive.
