Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) per ND board and ARRT certification within 24 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs general or vascular ultrasound exams.
• Ensures written physician order is received prior to exam and collects pertinent information.
• Reviews exams in PACS for quality and completeness; completes paperwork and distributes exams for interpretation.
• Maintains room cleanliness, machine, and filters; documents and deletes exams as needed.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during transportation, positioning, and procedure administration.
