Job summary

RadNet is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams in a regulated environment and assist radiologists with procedures. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and accurate data handling in a team-focused setting.

The candidate should have completed the Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma, passed the SPI exam, and hold ARDMS certification or be eligible. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

  • Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
  • SPI exam passed or in scope.
  • Current ARDMS certification or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
  • Understand how ultrasound data is generated and the operation of imaging instruments.
  • Monitor patient well-being during exams and take action if needed.
  • Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Respect company property, including cash and patient information on site or portals.
  • Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
  • Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
