Job summary

SimonMed is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality exams across abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular specialties in an outpatient setting. You will own image quality, use PACS RIS EMR workflows, and uphold diagnostic standards while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required or registry-eligible with clear path to certification.
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 1-2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning protocol knowledge.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff.
• Commitment to QA participation and ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-spectrum ultrasound exams: abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies.
• Own image quality and review own work for diagnostic completeness before radiologist review.
• Document in real time and maintain mastery of PACS RIS EMR workflows.
• Mentor students and contribute to QA and continuing education.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam areas and support department operations in a high-volume outpatient setting.
