Tampa General Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time role based in Nocatee, Florida. The position requires performing diagnostic ultrasound imaging across general, vascular, Doppler, and OB modalities, under Radiology Section Manager supervision, with on-call coverage as needed.

Education includes an Ultrasound Technology program and an Associate's degree; ARDMS/ARRT certifications are required within specified timeframes. BLS and ARDMS RVT/ARRT credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical program in ultrasound technology completed.
• Associate degree in ultrasound technology completed.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT Sonography Registry required.
• One year of diagnostic imaging experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and acquire high-quality images.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment per guidelines and ensure safety.
• Ensure procedures comply with protocols and HIPAA requirements.
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately.
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize exams; assist with on-call coverage.
