Job summary

Florida Medical Center is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations under radiologist supervision. The role covers abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, carotid, vascular, and small parts imaging with precise documentation and teamwork.

Requirements include ARDMS certification (AB/OB-GYN), RVT credentials within 89 days, and current BLS. On-call coverage is part of the essential duties in this imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Program of Ultrasonography.
• ARDMS AB and/or OB/GYN required.
• Credentialing ARDMS RVT or CCI RVT required within 89 days of employment.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations across abdomen, pelvis, obstetric, carotid, vascular and small parts under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintains documentation and communicates with Radiologist regarding history and findings.
• Participates in on-call coverage as part of job requirements.
