Job summary

Florida Medical Center in Florida is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, carotid, vascular and small parts examinations under radiologist supervision. You will document findings and ensure smooth imaging workflow, including on-call coverage as part of the job.

Applicants should be graduates of an approved Ultrasonography program with ARDMS certification and BLS. Credentialing within 89 days is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Ultrasonography program and ARDMS certification.
• BLS certification and credentialing completed within 89 days of employment.
• Excellent patient care, communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of ultrasound examinations under radiologist supervision.
• Document clinical history and ensure accurate communication of findings.
• Maintain efficient workflow and participate in on-call coverage as required.
• Interact with patients and staff to provide a positive imaging experience.
