Job summary

The candidate will pursue ARDMS Breast certification within 12 months of hire, and a BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Breast or eligibility with registration within 12 months of hire.
• 0–1 year of ultrasound technologist experience required.
• Graduate of a ARDMS-approved ultrasound or vascular technology education program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations per radiology and breast center protocols.
• Provide patient assessment and communicate findings promptly to the care team.
• Assist in teaching and mentoring other staff.
• Maintain quality control and ensure imaging equipment operates optimally.
• Complete data entry in Ikonopedia and chart preparation for appointments.
• Coordinate patient care and department communications within radiology and breast services.
