Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ultrasound imaging and diagnostic quality.
• Ability to correlate clinical history with exam results.
• Familiarity with ultrasound hardware and unit maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform all ultrasound procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain the procedure.
• Correlate clinical history and obtain diagnostic information.
• Interpret ultrasound scans for diagnostic quality.
• Develop and maintain skills for new exams and equipment.
• Process and reconcile images in PACS and RIS.
• Maintain records and daily log.
• Support accreditation efforts for the ultrasound department.
