Job summary

Parkwest Medical Center, Covenant Health’s flagship facility in West Knoxville, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Breast Center. This PRN/OCC role requires performing physician-defined ultrasound procedures and maintaining a safe, high-quality imaging environment.

The ideal candidate will have ARDMS/ARRT certification (or equivalent) and at least three years of clinical ultrasound experience, with strong patient assessment and image documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years clinical ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS/ARRT or equivalent licensure required.
• State licensure in Tennessee preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physician-ordered ultrasound procedures.
• Ensure complete orders with relevant clinical information.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings.
• Maintain equipment safety and image quality.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Assist physicians with procedures and interpretation as needed.
