Job summary

RadNet in Germantown, MD is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging in a patient‑centered environment. You will perform procedures in accordance with department policies and assist radiologists with biopsies as needed.

You will monitor patient well-being, protect patient information and property, and interact professionally with patients, families, and staff. ARDMS certification and BLS are required or preferred, with SPI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist program completed with diploma.
• SPI exam passed or eligible; ARDMS certifications preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand ultrasound data methods and equipment operation.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to issues.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Interact respectfully with patients, families, and the public in clinical settings.
