Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will ensure high-quality images, adhere to protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostics.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, documentation in PACS/RIS/EMR, and ongoing professional development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• ARDMS abdomen/OB-GYN or registry-eligible with certification path
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure where required
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and PACS/RIS/EMR systems
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning knowledge
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment
• Strong communication with patients, radiologists, and staff
• Commitment to QA and ongoing professional development
• Mentorship of students and positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Perform full spectrum of ultrasound exams: abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies
• Own image quality and diagnostic completeness before radiologist review
• Maintain exam area cleanliness and stock; manage workflow
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and history confirmation
