Job summary

SimonMed is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Florida to perform abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular exams with high-quality imaging. You will ensure diagnostic completeness and collaborate with radiologists in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds ARDMS certification, 1–2 years of experience, and is proficient with PACS, RIS, and EMR. Expect patient-centered care, professional development, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required or registry-eligible
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning protocol knowledge
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff
• Commitment to QA participation and ongoing professional development
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams—abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all three trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies
• Own the quality of every image you produce and review your own work for diagnostic completeness before radiologist review
• Manage your own workflow, keep exam area stocked and clean, and support departmental operations
• Provide clear explanations to patients and ensure comfort and history verification before procedures
• Mentor students and contribute to QA and continuing education
