Job summary

RadNet in Florida is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound imaging and contribute to excellent patient care within a team-focused radiology environment.

You will assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies, monitor patients during exams, and ensure safety and HIPAA compliance while advancing your professional skills through ongoing cross-training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguards patient health information and company property.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
