Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform quality ultrasound studies and support radiologists with biopsies in a patient-centered imaging environment. The role requires understanding equipment operation and adherence to regulatory standards while ensuring patient safety and privacy.

You will monitor patient well-being, maintain professional interactions, and collaborate with the care team to deliver accurate imaging results and outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Complete Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Pass SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and the operation of instruments.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and address discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient information and company property, including medications and financial data.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect patient boundaries.
