RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams at our Lehigh Acres imaging center. This on-site role supports radiologists and patients with a patient-focused approach and commitment to safety.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, assist with biopsies, and ensure strict adherence to policies and HIPAA guidelines while delivering compassionate care to diverse patients in a busy radiology environment.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the operation of the instruments.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical problems.
• Safeguard patient data, property, and medications on site.
• Interact professionally with patients, coworkers, and families.
