Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist III - PRN to perform ultrasound studies and ensure quality patient care. This role requires an Associate's degree, RDMS certification, and a current BLS card. You will work closely with physicians and patients to deliver excellent care.

Qualifications

• 2 years clinical experience post-graduation preferred.
• Current BLS card within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound studies according to established protocols.
• Prepares reports for physician interpretation.
• Provides age-appropriate care and assists with patient needs.
• Participates in patient transportation and departmental compliance.

Skills

Thorough knowledge of ultrasound diagnostic techniques

Strong skills in using software such as Excel, Word, EMR systems

Medical terminology proficiency

Superb organization skills

Education

Associate's degree in Ultrasound or higher

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Vascular Sonography (VS)
