Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist II - Imaging - FT to perform ultrasound studies according to established protocols or physicians’ instructions.

The role requires RDMS and RVT credentials, with experience in abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, pediatric, small parts and vascular studies. You will prepare reports, ensure high-quality images, and support patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Ultrasound or higher required.
• RDMS certification required.
• RVT certification required.
• Credential in Abdomen or OB/GYN.
• BLs certification within 30 days of hire or orientation.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound studies accurately and efficiently to meet turnaround times.
• Prepares reports for physician interpretation with quality images.
• Provides age-appropriate patient care, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Performs abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, pediatric, small parts and vascular studies.
• Participates with patient transportation.
• Maintains regulatory and quality control on equipment and reports variances.

Education

Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school in Ultrasound or higher.

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

Credentialed in Abdomen or OB/GYN.

Current BLS within 30 days of hire.
