Job summary

Great River Health Systems in West Burlington, IA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and generate high-quality images for radiologists. You will prepare patients, document histories, and communicate findings to physicians.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound, ARDMS preferred, and BCLS/First Aid per AHA. Weekend call rotation and holidays may apply, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree in radiologic technology or ultrasound program (required).
• ARDMS preferred; ARRT/ARRT upon hire required (if applicable).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support & First Aid (AHA) required.
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter (Child and Dependent Abuse) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Provide sonographic findings to physician for diagnosis.
• Explain procedure and prepare patients for exams; assess patient history.
• Maintain patient records and PACS data; ensure image quality and safety.
