Job summary

Great River Health Systems in West Burlington, IA, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and produce high-quality images for radiologists. You will perform general abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, small parts studies and work with PACS, while preparing patients and maintaining accurate records.

This part-time role (36 hours/week) includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, weekend/holiday rotations, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology and/or Ultrasound program required.
• ARDMSCertification preferred; ARRT certification upon hire required.
• BCLS & First Aid required.
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter for Child/Dependent Adult Abuse required.

Responsibilities

• Provide sonogram and summary of findings to physician for diagnosis.
• Decide which images to include and adjust exam based on findings.
• Operate PACS imaging system and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Position patient and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Record patient history and maintain accurate examination documentation.
