Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic health science program or School of Ultrasonography; and registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or registry eligible.
• Prefer prior sonographer experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in abdominal, pelvic, and vascular ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely during imaging procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments and history-taking to ensure proper examination technique.
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies for optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to discuss findings and patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and imaging results in medical records.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment.
