AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, FL seeks an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams and collaborate with radiologists. You will verify patient history, position patients, operate equipment, and document findings in EMR/PACS while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT eligibility or equivalent certification, an associate-level preference, and a focus on cross-sectional and Doppler imaging across age groups.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Ability to learn Radiology software and PACS quickly.
• Patient care and communication across all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders.
• Verify patient identity and history prior to scanning.
• Position patients and optimize imaging and hemodynamic data.
• Document findings accurately in EMR/PACS.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and privacy.
• Educate patients about the exam and maintain workflow.
• Operate imaging equipment safely for all ages.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging.
• Maintain clean, stocked exams rooms and equipment.
• Complete ultrasound technologist worksheet for radiologist review.
