AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams and document findings for radiologist review.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image optimization, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses. A strong background in ultrasound physics and PACS usage is required, with ARDMS/ARRT eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy to perform independent procedures to Radiologist standards.
• Must be able to use computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Must possess patient care and communication skills across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness.
• Position patients and equipment to acquire optimal images.
• Document findings in EMR and PACS.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and privacy.
• Operate imaging equipment safely across age groups.
