AdventHealth in Lake Wales, FL is seeking a qualified Ultrasonography Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams in a fast-paced environment. The role requires verifying patient information, obtaining clinical history, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure.

You will operate scanners, maintain sterile techniques, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis. The position is PRN with Day shifts, based at 410 S 11th St, Lake Wales, Florida, 33853.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy to perform procedures to Radiologist standards.
• Must read, write and speak conversational English.
• Experience with PACS and radiology software is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtain clinical history.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently; adjust factors for optimal images.
