Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Lead Ultrasound Technologist at the Nashoba/Groton campus. You will perform ultrasound examinations, gather clinical data, and ensure accurate records and proper billing.

Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton may be required to support operations. The ideal candidate has ARDMS registration within a year, graduates from an accredited ultrasonography or radiologic

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography or Radiological Technology program.
ARDMS registration within one year of hire date.
Minimum of one year of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound examinations consistent with patient age in inpatient or outpatient settings.
Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
Complete all documentation and billing promptly.
Assist with patient positioning and transfers; support radiologists with procedures.
QC images and send exams to PACS for radiologist review.
Assist with interventional ultrasound procedures and adhere to universal protocol.
