Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to provide direct patient care under a radiologist and to travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as needed. The successful candidate will perform ultrasound examinations, gather clinical data, and maintain patient records in a fast-paced setting.

Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography or radiologic technology program is required with ARDMS registration within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of diagnostic ultrasound experience under physician supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients and families.
• Knowledge of physics and instrumentation related to ultrasound for ARDMS exams.
• Ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound techniques and examinations per department protocols.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton for operational support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete associated paperwork.
• Assist radiologists with interventional procedures and QC of images.
• Ensure proper sterilization and equipment maintenance.
