Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to obtain and document patient information, adjust procedures, and ensure safe, accurate imaging. You will position patients, operate equipment, and review scans with Radiologists while maintaining QA standards.

The role requires an Associate Degree in medical imaging or related field, ARDMS registration, and BLS certification prior to 90 days. Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton may be needed, with a potential signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical imaging or health-related field.
• ARDMS registration or registry-eligible.
• BLS healthcare provider certification before 90 day probation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient clinical information; adjust imaging procedures by patient size, age, or condition.
• Assist, transfer, and position patients ensuring safety and modesty; select scan parameters.
• Process and document scans in HIS/RIS/PACS; review with Radiologists as needed.
• Maintain equipment QA and cleanliness; travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled.
