Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a CT Scan Technologist to perform CT examinations for inpatient and outpatient settings under Radiologist supervision. You will gather clinical data, ensure accurate records and deliver timely QC’d images for review.

Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton may be required to support operations. Requires graduation from an accredited radiologic program, ARRT/NMTCB CT certification, and MA licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan examinations appropriate to patient age in inpatient/outpatient settings per department standards.
• Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete records, paperwork and billings promptly.
• Position and transfer patients, assist physicians with interventional exams.
• Send exams to PACS after QC for physician review.
• Assist in inventory and purchase of supplies.
• Handle urgent exam requests and scheduling under Radiologist/Emergency Physician direction.
