Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Oceanside, CA to perform high quality ultrasound exams and support radiologists in procedures. The role emphasizes patient safety, data accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards within a team-focused radiology environment.

The ideal candidate will have completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma, passed the SPI exam, hold ARDMS certifications or be registry eligible, and possess BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures when needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation methods and operation of ultrasound equipment.
• Monitor patient wellbeing during exams and address discomfort or issues.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policy.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Interact with patients and families respectfully in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
