Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Oceanside, CA to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations and support radiologists with biopsies as needed. You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure patient comfort, and maintain strict regulatory and privacy standards.

The ideal candidate will have completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, passed the SPI exam, hold ARDMS certification or be registry-eligible, and possess BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Complete Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and operation of instruments.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient information and company property.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact with patients and families diplomatically in a clinical setting.
• Establish and nurture cooperative working relationships.
