Job summary

Fairfax Radiology Breast Center of Loudoun in Lansdowne, VA is seeking a diagnostic ultrasound Sonographer for weekday hours in a patient‑centered outpatient setting.

RDMS certification and BLS are required; 1+ years of general sonography is preferred and new graduates are encouraged. Compensation ranges from $39.95 to $54.05 per hour with a career ladder and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures with radiologists and care teams.
• Conduct OB (1st Trimester), GYN, abdominal and small parts exams.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and professionalism during exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team in outpatient setting.

What your day looks like

In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures while partnering closely with radiologists and care teams to ensure excellent patient care.

• Perform general ultrasound examinations including:
• OB (1st Trimester)
• GYN
• Abdominal
• Small Parts
• Breast ultrasound experience is a plus, but not required
• Consistently acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and professionalism throughout each exam
• Maintain strong attention to detail and imaging accuracy
• Collaborate with radiologists and fellow team members in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Compensation & Growth:

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:

$39.95 - $54.05 per hour
