Job summary

Fairfax Radiology Centers is seeking a Breast Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time position in Fairfax, VA, within the Float Pool. Qualifications

• 1+ years of Breast Ultrasound experience preferred.
• Current RDMS certification required.
• Breast certification through RDMS highly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform clinical breast sonography examinations.
• Acquire and maintain consistently high-quality diagnostic images.
• Evaluate and communicate breast anatomy and pathology findings to radiologists.

About The Role

• Location: Float Pool (home base is Fairfax Breast Center)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Status: Full-time, benefitted
• No weekends, holidays, or call
• Free on-site parking

What You’ll Do

• Independently perform clinical breast sonography examinations
• Confidently use your sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as needed for accurate anatomical and pathological imaging
• Acquire and maintain consistently high-quality diagnostic images
• Evaluate and communicate breast anatomy and pathology findings to radiologists
• Maintain positive, professional, and caring interactions with patients and families

What You’ll Bring
