Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer | Alexandria, VA | PRN | Weekdays Only

Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our team at our Alexandria Imaging Center.

About The Role

Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

No weekends, evenings, major holidays, or call.

Free on‑site parking available.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high‑quality general ultrasound examinations, including:
  • OB (1st trimester)
  • GYN
  • Abdominal
  • Small parts
• Breast ultrasound experience is a plus, but not required.
• Consistently acquire and evaluate high‑quality images for diagnostic accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists regarding exam findings.
• Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care with professionalism and empathy.

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ year of experience in general ultrasound preferred.
• RDMS certification required upon hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient‑first mindset.
