Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Tech in the Vascular Department to operate ultrasound equipment and perform diagnostic exams per established standards. You will provide patient services and contribute to cross‑sectional anatomy understanding while collaborating with radiologists.

Applicants should have an approved CAAHEP or ARRT Sonography program and be ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible, with BCLS on hire. No experience required; 1 year of experience preferred.

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Education

• an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT. Required or

Work Experience

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• (BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS)
