Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technician in the Vascular Department in Lilburn, GA. You will operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and perform routine invasive procedures according to established standards, servicing patients from neonatal to geriatric.

Required ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility and BCLS at hire; CAAHEP or ARRT-approved program. No experience required or 1 year preferred. On-site position with department-level collaboration.

Qualifications

• ARRDMS/ARDMS registry eligible is required.
• BCLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment for diagnostic exams in vascular dept.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and staff.

Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications:

Education

• an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT. Required or

Work Experience

• No experience required Required
• 1 year of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• (BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS)
