Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is seeking an Ultrasound Tech in the Vascular Department to operate ultrasound equipment for diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures, provide patient services, and communicate effectively with staff and radiologists. The role requires knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, care for all ages, and adherence to established standards.

Education must be a CAAHEP/ARRT-approved program; ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility is required, along with BCLS.

Qualifications

• CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or ARRT-approved program required.
• No experience required; 1 year of experience preferred.
• ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible required; BCLS required.

Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

• an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT. Required or

Work Experience

• No experience required Required
• 1 year of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• (BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS)
