Eastside Medical Center in Loganville, GA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in the Vascular Department to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures, following established standards. You will evaluate patient conditions, operate equipment, and communicate findings to radiologists and staff.

Qualifications include ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility, BCLS certification, and an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or ARRT-recognized equivalent.

Overview:

Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications:

Education

• an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT. Required or

Work Experience

• No experience required Required
• 1 year of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• (BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS)
