The Ultrasound Technologist operates ultrasound equipment to provide the Radiologist with an accurate record of the designated portions of the patient’s body.

At Hutchinson Health, you’ll perform high quality ultrasound examinations across all ages, collaborate with Radiologists to confirm imaging protocols, maintain exam rooms and records, and participate in a rotating call schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage in the Hutchinson and Olivia area.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound and/or Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT and/or ARDMS certification or registry eligible.
• Registered Vascular Technologist or Registry eligible.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Performs high quality ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, addressing and responding to their individual needs appropriately.
• Works with the Radiologist to learn and follow their imaging protocols, and to provide accurate information regarding symptoms and history.
• Maintains exam room, equipment and supplies in an orderly fashion, so as to be ready for the next patient.
• Maintains accurate records to meet regulatory and professional standards.
• Participates in a call rotation to provide emergency ultrasound coverage 24/7.
