Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is hiring an Ultrasound Tech for the MRMC 24 hr day shift on-site. You will perform ultrasound scans to assist physicians in diagnosis, document in HIS/RIS/PACS, and ensure safety and quality in imaging procedures.

Under supervision, you’ll position patients, adjust probe parameters, and maintain equipment; BLS is required within 90 days. Join a team dedicated to respectful patient care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registrant or registry eligible by the ARDMS.
• BLS certification within 90 days from date of hire.
• Additional registries are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient clinical information and history, adjust imaging procedures as needed.
• Assist, transfer, and position patients, ensure modesty and safety, select scan parameters.
• Process and record scanned images per Radiologist protocol and document in HIS/RIS/PACS.
• Check equipment operation, maintain QA, keep rooms stocked and clean.
• Keep up to date with ultrasonography developments through inservice study or courses.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

AR DMS registrant or registry eligible

BLS certification within 90 days from date of hire
