Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans for physician interpretation, ensuring patient safety and image quality. The role requires collaboration with Radiologists and adherence to radiation standards.

Qualifications

• AART certification in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine is required.
• RTR licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Must take the initial exam for the ARRT certification in CT Scan within 6 months of completing the required competencies.
• Must pass the ARRT CT certification exam within 12 months.
• BLS certification with 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan examinations appropriate to the patient age in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Gather pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete all records, paperwork and billings accurately and promptly.
• Position and transfer patients and assist physicians with interventional exams.
• Send exams to PACS for physician review and perform QC on images.
