Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA seeks an ultrasound technologist to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and related procedures. This on-site role requires thorough patient care and attention to cross-sectional anatomy.

The ideal candidate will complete an approved diagnostic sonography program, be ARRT/ARDMS eligible, and hold BCLS. No experience required, with preference for 1 year of experience. This position offers growth within Piedmont Healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications:

Education

• an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT. Required or
