Job summary

Siemens Healthineers seeks an Ultrasound Serviceability Engineer to lead service engineering of Ultrasound products, manage service projects, and develop product service concepts. You will work hands-on with ultrasound systems, evaluating serviceability, troubleshooting issues, validating service requirements, and supporting product development activities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, define service requirements, and contribute to lifecycle validation, with travel up to 10%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience in medical devices and customer service.
• 2–5 years’ experience in medical devices and/or customer services roles.
• Ultrasound System service and repair experience preferred.
• Excellent PC and Microsoft Office skills. AI, Cloud computing, and Powershell a plus.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Service Engineering of Ultrasound products and manage service projects.
• Develop Product Service Concepts and Plans.
• Work hands-on with Ultrasound systems to evaluate serviceability and troubleshoot issues.
• Validate service requirements and support product development activities.
• Provide input to Engineering on new products to improve serviceability and diagnostic functions.
• Define serviceability and value-added service requirements and support their implementation within the Project team.
• Evaluate the product service lifecycle, test and validate service functions, create technical docs, and provide training.
