Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time ultrasound technologist at Big Rapids Hospital to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assist with invasive procedures. You will document findings, support physicians, and provide patient-centered care for routine and complex cases.

The role requires ARRT/ARDMS certifications and an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. On-site schedule includes weekend coverage and day shifts.

• CRT-Sonographer (S) ARRT Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Abdomen (AB) ARDMS Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) ARDMS Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) ARDMS Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS) ARRT Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) ARRT Within 1 year Grand Rapids imaging requirement.
• CRT-Breast (BR) ARDMS Within 1 year Grand Rapids imaging requirement.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings.
• Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
