Job summary

McWane is seeking a skilled UKG Pro Payroll & Workforce Management Administrator to join our team in handling payroll, timekeeping, scheduling, and labor management within UKG Pro modules. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, data integrity, and regulatory compliance while supporting employees and managers.

The role requires 2–5 years of payroll/workforce experience and hands-on HRIS expertise, with strong Excel skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years of payroll and/or workforce management experience.
• Hands-on experience with UKG Pro (UltiPro), UKG Workforce Management, Kronos, or similar HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and timekeeping practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain UKG Pro (UltiPro) Payroll and Workforce Management modules.
• Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payroll completion.
• Monitor employee timecards, attendance records, leave balances, and scheduling data.
• Troubleshoot payroll, timekeeping, scheduling, and timeclock system-related issues.
• Assist in configuring earnings, deductions, accruals, pay rules, and labor allocations.
• Audit payroll and workforce data for accuracy and compliance.
• Generate payroll, labor, attendance, and management reports.
• Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
• Train managers and employees on UKG Pro functions and self-service tools.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Partner with HR, Benefits, Accounting and Operations teams to resolve employee-related issues.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and audits.
• Manage security roles, workflows, and user access permissions.
