Job summary

Amerex Corporation in Trussville, AL, is seeking a UKG Pro Payroll & Workforce Management Administrator to join our skilled HR team. You will administer payroll, timekeeping, attendance, scheduling, and workforce management, ensuring accurate processing and data integrity while complying with laws and company policies.

You will configure earnings, deductions, accruals and pay rules, audit data, generate reports, and support system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, accounting, or related field.
• 2-5 years of Payroll and/or workforce management experience.
• Hands-on experience with UKG Pro/UltiPro, UKG Workforce Management, Kronos, or similar HRIS.
• Knowledge of payroll laws and timekeeping practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer UKG Pro Payroll and Workforce Management modules.
• Process payroll accurately and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor timecards, attendance, leave balances, and scheduling data.
• Troubleshoot payroll/timekeeping/system issues.
• Configure earnings, deductions, accruals, pay rules, and labor allocations.
• Audit payroll and workforce data for accuracy and compliance.
• Generate payroll, labor, attendance, and management reports.
• Support system upgrades and new functionality implementation.
• Train managers and employees on UKG Pro functions and self-service tools.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Accounting and Operations to resolve issues.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing and audits.
• Manage security roles, workflows, and user access permissions.
