The State of Georgia, Department of Labor, is hiring a Central Office Specialist – TLB in Atlanta. This is a time-limited, full-time role within the UI Appeals Department, located at 148 Andrew Young International Blvd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30303.

The position offers a competitive annual salary and benefits package. Under limited supervision, you will manage administrative duties for UI appeals, including docketing, file creation, and hearing coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of office experience.
• Experience using common office software and computers.
• Experience in unemployment insurance field is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, process, and docket appeal requests.
• Investigate facts and evaluate evidence to determine actions.
• Create and maintain electronic appeal files for hearings.
• Send and mail hearing files to interested parties.
• Assign issues to be discussed in upcoming hearings.
• Ensure tribunal records and notes are up to date.
• Coordinate with Administrative Hearing Officers and ensure timely status updates.
