Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic for a long-term program in Albertville, AL. You will join a hands-on team supporting a U.S. military FMS program and perform maintenance on UH-60 family aircraft.

Responsibilities include PMI 1/2 maintenance, component removal/replacement, upgrades, and ensuring quality. 1st/2nd shifts with overtime available; on-site contract-to-hire role with benefits and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience with UH-60, SH-60, MH-60, or HH-60 aircraft maintenance.
• Phase maintenance experience is required.
• Familiarity with Sikorsky platforms such as S-70 or S-76 is considered.
• Must have own tools or be willing to acquire them.

UH-60 or Sikorsky platform experience Required

Position Overview

This is a great opportunity to join a long-term UH-60 Blackhawk program supporting a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you’ll be part of a hands‑on team working on real mission‑driven aircraft, directly supporting U.S. military allies.

Responsibilities:

• Performing PMI 1 and PMI 2 phase maintenance on UH-60 aircraft

• Removing and replacing main rotor, tail rotor, hydraulics, airframe parts, and flight controls

• Conducting aircraft upgrades and modifications as needed

• Ensuring high-quality standards in are being met

Schedule & Terms

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 10-hour shifts (1st and 2nd shift options available)

• 1st Shift: 6:30am-4:30pm. 2nd Shift: 3:30pm-1:30am. Shift Differential of $1.50 offered.

• Overtime: Available as needed

• Terms: Contract-to-hire

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
