Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60) to perform maintenance on helicopters, following drawings and manuals. Responsibilities include removing/installing engines and subsystems, servicing subsystems, preparing aircraft for inspections, and assisting in troubleshooting with required tools and equipment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, military technical training preferred, and the ability to work various shifts and travel as needed. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies.
• Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Perform scheduled inspections and assist in special inspections.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting subsystems using special tools.
